CASHES POLICY

We operate and maintain a comprehensive Community Affairs and Security, Health Environment and Safety (CASHES) policy to ensure continuous delivery of quality services in accordance with approved Industry Standard. Our CASHES policy receives proper emphasis and the needed attention in all phases of project implementation. CASHES plan set a challenging HSE target with a view to meet our objectives within acceptable industry standard and in a timely manner. In compliance with CASHES Policy, SUMI Global Ventures Limited conducts its business activities in a way and manner that safeguards the health and safety its employee and minimize damages to properties and environment. The management of SUMI Global Ventures Limited agrees that all accidents are preventable provided set down procedures are followed. Accidents are leading causes of damage, loss and sometimes-serious injury to persons. The Company has laid–down safety rules for its employees and provides work equipment that are in good condition and maintains strict disciplinary action against offenders of the system.

QUALITY & SAFETY (HSE) POLICY

SUMI Global Ventures Limited is dedicated to a quality and safety (HSE) policy, ensuring that its services are of a unified and consistent level, meeting the agreed requirements of its customers', national (Nigerian) and international industry codes and standards. The Company believes in the concept of total quality, safety, protection of the environment, and satisfaction of customers, suppliers, employees, and general public working together to pursue the policy, and the continual process of quality and safety improvement. The objective of the Quality and Safety Management System is to aim to achieve total Customers Satisfaction' by consequently meeting the requirements. A management representative is appointed with the responsibility and full authority in order to ensure the compliance with the requirements in the standards; this implies that the continuous implementation of the company's quality and safety system has been delegated to this authority. The total quality and safety management system is a permanent feature of the life of the Company, and all personnel being aware of their responsibility, quality and safety documentation system, throughout all levels of the services.

QUALITY ASSURANCE AND SAFETY(HSE)

SUMI Global Ventures Limited operates an internal and external quality and safety system in accordance with the latest requirements as stipulated in ISO 9001:2000 series Quality Management System and ISO 14000:1996 series Environment Management Systems (EMS). In line with the official issues of ISO 9001:2000 series, SUMI Global Ventures Limited commenced a transition programme of the quality management system towards the new standard of integration. This has direct effect on the system since the standard is based on the eight-quality management principle: 1. Customer-focused organization. We depend on our customers and therefore, should understand current and future customer needs, meet customer requirements and strive to exceed customer expectations. 2. Inclusive Leadership. Our Leadership strides establish unity of purpose and direction of the organization. SUMI Global Ventures Limited management team creates and maintains the internal project environment in which team members can become fully involved in achieving the organization's objectives. 3. Involvement of people. We believe that people at all levels are the essence of an organization, and their full involvement to enable their abilities to be used for the organization's benefit is of utmost important. 4. NIGERIA CONTENT & CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR)

It is our intention to use resources from Nigeria (materials and personnel), if available and an acceptable level of quality can be guaranteed. Sourcing, acquisition and expending will be executed from Lagos. Nigerian engineers will be part of the teams in order to gain experience and to express the typical Nigerian situation of the operation. With the view to stimulating the economy of the (host) community and enriching the indigene a reasonable percentage of the labour force will be recruited from the work area. The local labour will form part of an integral part of the workforce and will be accorded all rights and privileges due any other employee during the period of engagement. It is recognized that construction works of reasonable magnitude affect the immediate environment as well as the activities of the surrounding communities. In order to reduce cases of communities' disturbances, it has become expedient to put in place a clearly defined programme of action to address all community-related issues. The objectives of this programme are as follows: • Toensureaworkprogrammedevoidofinterruption/disturbances arising from host community related issues. • Toputinplaceaclearly defined method of resolving such issues as they arise. • Toensurethatcommunity derives maximum benefit from the work programme in accordance with the overall SUMI Global Ventures Limited community related objective
